Welcome to those of you joining me from DISTherapy and those of you just hopping aboard. I am the 2nd stop on our Magical Blogorail.
The Star Wars Weekends are a type of festival put on by Walt Disney World. This year the festivity dates are May 17-19, May 24-26, May 31-June 2, June 7-9 2013 all at Disney's Hollywood Studios. To participate in the festivities all you need is a park ticket!
There are several special fun events going on during the Star Wars Weekends
- Celebrity Autographs - *IMPORTANT* you MUST have a fastpass to receive a celebrity autograph. A limited number of fastpasses are available, so your best bet is to arrive to Disney's Hollywood Studios Early! One autograph per person.
- Disney Characters will be dressed in Costume. This is a great oportunity to get some unique shots with the characters.
- Special Parade features stars from the movies.
- Jedi Training Academy - this is a fun show that is really interactive with the kids!
- Hyperspace Hoopla - music, comedy and dancing at the end of each day.
I think the activities they have going on sound like a lot of fun! Even if you don't love Star Wars I think it will still be a fun time inside the Park! I love how there are always different events going on at Walt Disney World.
